How to comment

  1. Open the council page with the button above.
  2. Register with your email. It takes about two minutes. Click the link the council emails you, then log in.
  3. Choose who you are. Pick “Neighbour” if you live nearby. If not, pick “Interested party”. Then choose Support.
  4. Write a few lines in your own words, then send it. There is help with what to say below.

What to write

  • Use your own words. Many copies of the same letter count for less than a few real ones.
  • Stick to planning. Say how you get there, how it is run, and what it gives the area.
  • Leave out the people who object. Write about the mosque, not about them.
  • Give your name and address. A council may not count a comment without them.
