About the IAG

A UK-based coalition of Muslim organisations and community leaders coordinating against rising Islamophobia, anti-Muslim hatred and violence.

Our Story

In the wake of rising Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hatred across the UK, a coalition of Muslim organisations and community leaders came together to coordinate a collective response.

This is not a new organisation — it is a shared operating framework for action that brings together existing bodies to reduce fragmentation, prevent duplication, and deliver coordinated action.

We combine grassroots knowledge with research, legal insight, and civic engagement to ensure Muslim communities are protected and empowered.

How We Work

Alignment Without Uniformity

Different organisations engage in different ways — quietly, publicly, or through escalation — and this plurality is treated as a strength.

Tiered Participation

Core Delivery Partners lead work. Contributing Partners support delivery. Supporting Partners advise, amplify, and endorse.

Stewardship Not Centralisation

Coordination is facilitative, not directive. Ownership remains with delivery organisations.
