Incident Reporting & Victim Support

Coordinating trusted data collection and ensuring victims have access to support.

Why This Matters

Accurate data is essential to protecting communities and securing policy change, yet incident reporting is fragmented across multiple services with differing standards. This workstream focuses on coordination — improving alignment between reporting mechanisms, strengthening data quality, and ensuring victims have access to counselling, legal, and other support.

What We’re Working On

1

Reporting Service Coordination

Mapping existing reporting services, identifying gaps, and working towards common reporting standards across organisations.

2

Online Monitoring

Exploring ethical approaches to monitoring public online spaces for Islamophobic and anti-Muslim hatred trends.

3

Victim Support & Triage

Establishing coordinated approaches to victim support, including legal, counselling, and case management services.

4

Data Quality & Insights

Improving the quality and consistency of incident data to support community protection, advocacy, and policy engagement.
